A strong brand 'helps position your company in the mind of consumers'

Having a strong branded image can ensure your company is positioned in the minds of potential customers, according to a gifts expert.

In an article on knowhow-now.com, Matthew Pressman writes that distributing corporate logo gifts can "link the gifts effectively with your company’s brand, helping to leave a lasting impression in the minds of your consumers".

Branded gifts can mean that your company does not have to fight with others for advertising space because your logo is already within their homes on corporate gifts in the form of picture frames, tankards or keyrings, for example.

In this way, says Mr Pressman, the relationship between company and customer is more "intimate" than one created through advertising.

"Developing your brand through promotion, advertising and a strong relationship with clients is an essential ingredient of building a valuable business and maintaining your corporate credibility," he adds.

According to the government's business advisory service Business Link, emotional loyalty between customer and company can also be built up through good service and quality products.
