Bar accessories 'appeal to all in lifestyle magazines'

Men admiring bar accessories on show in glossy lifestyle magazines should be aware that their wives are probably doing the same, a news provider has said.

Writing in the Times of India, Sudeshna Chatterjee commented that such bar accessories are often appealing to high-class women who are also likely to meet up in a pub or restaurants to socialise.

Speaking to the newspaper, Rajeev Samant, chief executive officer and managing director of Sula Vineyars, has described drinking and enjoying bar accessories as "the sophisticated thing to do" for women.

He has developed a special wine designed to appeal to women aged between 20 and 30 with a low alcohol content.

According to the author, women in India are now accustomed to having more independence and a life outside of their families.

Last month the Daily Telegraph reported that bar accessories and home bars are becoming more popular in the UK, with people trying to replicate a "cocktail-hour atmosphere" in their own homes.
