Branding 'about more than logo design'

Creating a brand image is about more than simply creating the right logo design, it has been claimed.

According to expert Jacky Tai, writing in Adoi magazine, logos are there for differentiation, not primarily as a branding tool.

He added that while logos are important, to make a proper recognisable brand, businesses must approach the problem in a different way.

Taking a stand is also important for those wanting to make themselves more interesting than other products on the market.

Staying in the middle of the market will not help with sales, the expert explained, saying it is more important to make a product stand out by being high-quality or particularly cheap rather than being hidden.
