Branding 'influences what they say'

Having a good brand strategy can cause people to talk about a company more favourably, it has been claimed.

Writing in Investment News, business expert Libby Dubick said that firms should build up a well-known brand of their own in order to ensure their success is not dictated by the markets but rather of their own creation.

Many financial advisers dismiss the idea of building a branding strategy because they are afraid of being turned into a slogan.

However, doing so does not diminish the quality of service, and criteria which the client is more likely to use when choosing an adviser include how knowledgeable the adviser is, how nice they are or their level of experience.

When building a brand, company owners should consider what they want to be said about them and then work out how to make people think that, the article states.

According to AsiaOne, corporate gifts are an effective way of advertising and branding a business.
