Company logo baseball bats 'great corporate gift'
Business gifts are no longer restricted to the realm of logo pens and fridge magnets, a US baseball shop claims.
As reported on courant.com, McGuire Baseball in Middletown, Connecticut is making a healthy profit from engraving gifts such as baseball bats for companies.
The shop offers free engraving on baseball bats and gloves, along with selling engraved mini-bats as commemorative corporate gifts, the source explained.
Company logos can be burned on to the business gifts using a laser machine and then passed on to clients, employees or others.
Custom-engraved birth announcements are another popular use for the gifts and all come with a lifetime guarantee against damage.
Bats come in either northern ash or hard rock maple and can be customised to the recipients own swing.
The products from McGuire Baseball are typical examples of corporate gifts a small firm could afford, rather than struggling to pay for luxury seats at a sporting event, as is typical of major companies, reports a Sydney Morning Herald blog.
