Conference to promote branded merchandise

The International Direct Marketing Fair is due to be held at Earl's Court in London at the end of the month.

Branded merchandise as a form of direct marketing will be promoted, and firms will be shown how to use this type of marketing to their advantage.

This includes the purchase of engraved gifts designed to be given by marketers to clients and potential clients.

Personal direct mail, promotional marketing, integrated marketing campaigns and web-to-print technology will also be under discussion.

Branding is very important for a company and at an executive level, can be a vry useful tool for getting a company's logo into another workplace.

Internal marketing and staff incentives can also be useful, helping to build "that family spirit and morale", according to blogger Stephen Ng.

Branded merchandise and corporate gifts are very useful at conferences, fairs and trade shows, says Stephen.

New clients can be targeted at such events and branding images can be re-enforced.
