Corporate gifts firms to enjoy charity golf

The British Promotional Merchandising Association is holding a charity golf day for suppliers and manufacturers of corporate gifts and executive gifts to get together and raise money for charity.

It will take place on September 10th at Chobham Golf Club in Surrey and is open to teams of up to four people including clients and suppliers of executive gifts.

Those who wish to enter individually can still do so, being teamed with other people involved in the corporate gifts industry.

Proceeds from the event, which will cost £99 + VAT for each player and £30 + VAT for each non-player, will go to bone marrow support charity Myeloma UK.

According to myturfgolf.com, playing the sport can be an effective networking tool and help to develop business owners' social strength.

This is because it develops contacts, removes formalities from meetings and eliminates rank, the site advises.

Myturfgolf.com adds that playing golf can also give an insight into the personality of suppliers or clients and create shared moments with customers.

Looking for corporate promotional gifts? Business Gifts Supplier offers a choice selection of business promotional gifts including pens, picture frames, keyrings, card cases, pewter tankards and hip flasks.
