Corporate gifts showcased in Canada

The Promotional Product Professionals of Canada (PPPC) have been holding a trade show to showcase some of the products available in the corporate gift and promotional products markets.

Ranges of merchandise on display varied from relatively cheap pens to more exclusive items such as engraved gifts.

President and chief executive officer of the PPPC Donald O'Hara said that the choice of gifts available is "limited only by the supplier's and the client's imaginations".

"Some end users, such as high-end companies, will want to have an exclusive product," he commented.

He gave examples of possible gifts including watches which cost thousands of dollars and explained that some brands, for example Mary Kay Cosmetics, gave away gifts as valuable as Cadillacs.

According to figures from the PPPC, promotional products are one of the fastest-growing segments of the advertising industry.

Corporate gifts can range from key rings to pewter tankards, with engraved gifts and corporate logo gifts particularly popular with businesses.

Clients will be encouraged to turn to your company if they have been given a corporate gift, according to PR-Inside.com.
