"Creativity"essential in executive office accessories

When it comes to choosing desk accessories as executive gifts, "a little creative imagination goes a long way", it has been claimed.

The Pioneer Local stated that traditional picture frames and other desk-related objects are no longer cutting the mustard when it comes to office decor.

Embossed or engraved gifts such as paperweights and picture frames which double as cigar holders are the latest craze in corporate accessories, the publication said.

Antique items are becoming a popular office trend, it continued, adding: "Among the most decorative office accessories [of the late 19th century] were letter openers. Look out for those with decorative handles made of pearl or silver, as well as embossed metal."

Desk accessory designer Kerensa Anncel has reported that office items should reflect a worker's personality in the same way as their clothes.

She advised employees to display their creativity with unique executive games and stationery.
