Branded Merchandise News

Cultivating an image 'can offer the edge'

Small businesses can gain an edge over their competition by taking pains to cultivate a clear brand image, according to the Augusta Chronicle.

The publication reports that through successful branding a smaller firm can stand out from its competitors, build customer loyalty and solidify credibility.

Consumers' perceptions of a company and what it produces or the services it offers are tied up with its branding.

A successful branding strategy will mean that the consumer perceives something special about a particular firm and wants to purchase from it.

The newspaper advised: "A brand can encompass more than one idea - such as personal service at a great value - but too many concepts may be hard to deliver on and confuse the public."

Business advisory service Business Link tells small firm owners that branding extends beyond a company's logo, which can be printed onto corporate gifts, and includes an organisation's reputation.

Looking for corporate promotional gifts? Business Gifts Supplier offers a choice selection of business promotional gifts including pens, picture frames, keyrings, card cases, pewter tankards and hip flasks.
