Employees 'can be kept happy with corporate gifts'
Giving corporate gifts to well-performing employees can help keep them happy at work, according to a promotional gifts expert.
Corporate gifts let employees know that a company appreciates their hard work and that they are important to the firm, says marketing graduate student Abbie Stutzer.
High-quality gifts are particularly effective because they show employees that they are recognised as a respected member of the firm, she adds.
Purchasing corporate logo gifts that are particularly of interest to the employee in question can be very effective, according to Ms Stutzer.
Employees who enjoy puzzles will appreciate executive games and a clock will be appreciated by anyone who is currently living without one.
"Reminding your employees they produce quality work will only improve their performance, which will affect the way they work with clients in a positive manner," Ms Stutzer adds.
Executive gifts have been proven in academic studies to significantly increase employee productivity.
