Engraved crystal football to celebrate club's achievement

West Bromwich Albion Football Club has been awarded an engraved crystal football for its Black Country derby win on Tuesday.

The crystal football was awarded by the League Managers' Association panel, which features Sir Alex Ferguson, Dave Basset, Howard Wilkinson, Barry Fry and Joe Royle decided.

Albion FC were awarded the prize as a result of Tuesday's performance, which culminated in Zoltan Gera's strike at the 59th minute.

Manager Tony Mowbray accepted the award on behalf of the team, which is now celebrating the fact that it is now at the top of the Championship league.

The prize is no doubt a welcome addition to the Albion FC's trophy cabinet. In fact, engraved crystal footballs are becoming a popular prize in the football world and can easily be bought over the internet from online glassware vendors.

Golden Awards, for example, claims that most of its awards can be used for any sport. However, there are some crystal and optical crystal awards that are "unique to the sport of football".
