How to thank guests with pewter tankards

Pewter tankards can be the perfect way to thank those who have been involved in the planning of the wedding day, it has been claimed.

According to a writer on the Hypnosis Treatment blog, engraved gifts such as pewter tankards can be personalised to create a memorable commemorative gift for those who have gone out of their way to assist the bride and groom.

Such executive gifts, or personalised desk accessories, could be distributed among the bridesmaids, the best man and groomsmen or even the father of the bride.

Writing in the St Petersburg Times, writer Dalia Colon advised brides to reward their bridesmaids with something they will "really cherish".

Examples she gives include hair appointments, wedding day jewellery or other trinkets.

Wedding planner Jennifer Fitzsimmons told the newspaper: "Just be as courteous as you can to these girls so that you can remain friends with them after the wedding."
