Innovative corporate gifts used to promote Pepsi

Pepsi has ordered 2,000 corporate gifts to help promote their brand to consumers.

The Cincinnati Business Courier reports that new kinds of innovative corporate gifts are constantly being developed and a local company Racecooler Co is making drinks coolers from recycled tyres.

Kevin Bruns, a fan of the NASCAR stock car racing, noticed that there were piles of tyres building up after every event.

So far, he has converted some 20,000 tyres into drinks coolers weighing 32-pounds which he can sell for $200 (£100) each, the newspaper reports.

He commented to the publication that making recycled business gifts is more appealing than a normal business.

"You know you're doing something better than chasing the almighty dollar," Mr Bruns told the Business Courier.

According to Time Out, concern for the environment and awareness of humans' effect on the environment is "becoming big business".
