J-Lo gives engraved gifts to her newborn twins

Jennifer Lopez and husband Marc Anthony have confirmed the names of their newborn twins.

Max and Emme were delivered at Long Island hospital on February 22nd.

Rumours were already rife about the names of the twins, after J-Lo's mother Guadalupe was seen buying baby ID bracelets in New York engraved with the names Max and Emme, according to Newsday.com.

It is traditional to give babies engraved gifts, with engraved pens and crystal engraved glasses common.

Ms Lopez's manager Simon Fields told People magazine the couple were "thrilled" with the new arrivals.

They are rumoured to have spent $1.4 million (£700,000) on the birth, including $700,000 (£353,000) on a luxury hospital suite and $300,000 (£151,000) on private medical care, according to Newsday.

The couple married in 2004, five months after Ms Lopez broke off her engagement with actor Ben Affleck and less than a week after Mr Anthony was granted a "quickie" divorce from former wife Dayanara Torres, a former Miss Universe.
