Marketing experts expect more personalised approach
Marketing techniques are set to become based around a relationship of trust, rather than flashy promotional techniques, it has been claimed.
Research by 1to1 Media found that some 84 per cent of marketers believe that "building customer trust will become marketing's primary objective" by 2020, reports Promo Magazine.
According to the report, marketers will focus more on "developing actual authentic relationships built on trust", the magazine quoted.
One respondent told the study: "A product can be duplicated, but a relationship can't."
Corporate gifts and executive gifts are a way to build up trust between customers and businesses.
Branded logo gifts remind customers of their experience with a firm and provide them with the details needed to get back in touch with the company should they need their services again.
Types of gifts available include pewter tankards, silver gifts and hip flasks.
