Middle Eastern customers 'more attached to brands'
Corporate gift recipients in the Middle East may be more attracted to buying from certain brands than their Western counterparts, according to research.
In a visit to Dubai, Lesley van der Walt, managing director of TNS Consumer Equity Company, claimed that her company had found that customers in the area are more likely to be loyal to a certain brand, Al Bawaba reports.
Middle Eastern companies are more keen on "emotionally connecting" with their products, she told the news provider.
Luxury brands are particularly likely to have loyal customers, Ms van der Walt explained to Al Bawaba.
Commitment to a brand means that they are more likely to re-purchase from a certain supplier or company, she remarked.
A feeling of goodwill towards a company can be created by giving a high-quality gift to a potential or existing customer which will encourage clients to use a particular service, PR-Inside.com has commented.
