Opinions on incentives wanted

Promotions and Incentives magazine is calling on its readers to contribute their opinions to its survey on what kind of corporate gifts they use to engage staff.

Results will be announced in a feature on staff motivation in the June issue of Incentive Business and participants will be eligible to win £100 in vouchers from Marriott Individual Incentives.

The magazine's acting editor Hugh Filman commented: "This is a great opportunity for people to share their views on which incentives work best while getting a chance to win a nice prize."

"Then they can see what the whole industry thinks when the results of Motivation Benchmark 2008 are released in the June issue," he added.

According to Promotions and Incentives magazine, the survey takes five minutes to complete and closes on May 9th.

Corporate gifts have been cited as a good way to motivate staff to do well and a 2003 study carried out by the Incentive Federation found that 92 per cent of American workers claimed that they achieved targets because of incentives.
