Special gift pens reduce the strain

A range of special gift pens, designed to reduce stress on the hands, is coming to Britain.

The Yoropen collection, produced by Taiwanese designer Bao Shen Liu, has a special ergonomic construction, making it perfect for left-handed people and for those who suffer from hand and wrist strains and associated conditions such as RSI and carpal tunnel syndrome.

Indeed, Yoropens have been praised by doctors and educationalists alike, thanks to the shape that encourages users to sit up straight.

Unlike ordinary pens, Yoropens feature an adjustable grip, with the writing point being situated in front of and at an angle to the fingers.

That means that what is being written can be seen more easily, and ensures a minimally stressful grip.

The pens are now available at gifts and accessories firm, KJ Beckett of Bath.

Announcing the tie-up, joint owner Paul Beckett called it "a truly unique and funky pen".
