Student 'pleased with engraved flask'

Ohio State University student newspaper the Lantern has conducted some research into people's favourite Valentine's Day gifts, and an engraved flask was mentioned in the list of preferred items.

Josh Neptune, a senior in hospitality management at the institution, reflected on his past gifts, saying "the best gift I've ever gotten on Valentine's Day was an engraved flask".

He indicated that it is the "one thing" from his previous relationship that he still uses, which suggests that engraving gifts is something that people will appreciate in the long run.

Sterling silver prayer box necklaces, which can be engraved, are also ideal Valentine's Day gifts, according to the Eloy Enterprise.

The news source suggests that this is an ideal all-purpose present and places it in the top-ten gifts for females on the romantic day.

Last week, the Detroit News highlighted engraved stationary as a suitable gift to give a loved one.
