Thank groomsmen and bridesmaids 'with engraved gifts'
Engraved gifts can be the perfect way for any special couple to thank those who help them on their wedding day, it has emerged.
Local Cincinnati newspaper the Enquirer enlisted the help of Richter & Philips Jewellers to come up with a number of ideas for brides and grooms to present their bridesmaids and groomsmen with as a memento of the big day.
Men's accessories which say thank you were listed as cufflinks or watches, both of which can be engraved with the recipient's initials.
Groomsmen may also appreciate other engraved gifts such as liquor glasses or tankards, the newspaper adds, along with personalised watches for the more extravagant of newlyweds.
Brides were recommended to thank their attendants with jewellery such as pearl earrings, necklaces or bracelets, all of which could be worn on the special day itself.
It was recently revealed by Alliance & Leicester that the average British wedding costs £19,400.
