Understand 'the hidden message' of branding

A clear advantage is available to those businesses which can identify the messages behind their own branding and work to improve them, an article has claimed.

Naseem Javed, writing for the E-Commerce Times, said firms should reassess their expenditure on marketing and branding and mark out "the negative baggage they may already be carrying".

Problems which a firm can have with its name, that it may have printed on corporate gifts, include if there are too many other companies with the same name, an old-fashioned name or an unusual spelling.

Not having the rights to the .com of the same company name is also a reason to drop it, the author claimed.

Company owners should also ensure their name translates well into other languages and cultures to avoid embarrassment.

According to Aleatherwallet.com, corporate gifts engraved with a brand name will help keep the business's image in the minds of potential consumers.
