Unique and tasteful desk accessories 'convey personality'

Executive gifts should reflect personal attributes, it has been claimed.

According to desk accessories designer Kerensa Anncel, unique and tasteful products such as executive games and stationary acknowledge personality within a business environment.

"Think of the office style as important as the clothes worn to work," she advises. "Nothing stimulates creativity like beautiful accessories and a well thought out environment."

Ms Anncel claims that progressive businesses will acknowledge the value of diversity and uniqueness within an office situation and that people's surroundings reflect their identities.

Stylish picture frames and other types of executive gifts can all create a fashionable work environment, she explains.

Popular corporate recognition gifts featured on company desks include the traditional carriage clock and engraved decanters, reports the Financial Times.

A source-e survey found that 52 per cent of respondents would buy from a company whose branded merchandise was on their desk.
