Webinar held on benefits of corporate gifts

A small business marketing company has hosted a webinar outlining the benefits of corporate gifts.

Topics covered in Giveaway Gold: Promotional Products That Drive Revenue, run by marketing firm VistaPrint, included the boost in branding that can be gained from using executive gifts, how customisation can be effective and the best type of corporate gifts to use.

Mindy Sanderson, VistaPrint's small business marketing specialist, told CNN money: "Small businesses often struggle with the concept of promotional products. Customers often ask, 'how much should I spend?' or 'what return will I get on my investment?' when I speak with them."

She added that the online conference on corporate gifts was intended to help small businesses choose the right kinds of executive gifts for their firms.

A corporate gifts study by Baylor University found that retailers and salespeople who distribute promotional business products received 22 per cent more referrals than those who did not use executive gifts as a promotional tool.
